The interestingly named Democrat Senator, Chris Coons, publicly lamented that it was too bad his fellow democrats passed the anti-filibuster rule when they were last in control of the Senate. His lamentations were concerned with his party's present inability to delay the vote on the new president's cabinet nominees whose office requires Senate approval. This is consistent with the current presidential recount efforts. When progressives don't win, they try to change the rules until they do.
